NETSAFE Portable
NETSAFE Portable is a mobile acoustic system designed to deter seals and sea lions in a wide range of underwater situations.
NETSAFE Portable incorporates our unique acoustic system, used in over 1000 systems worldwide, which has proven effective against seals and sea lions in Europe and South America. The system has a robust underwater projector that emits omnidirectional sound that seals and sea lions find uncomfortable when they are within the 40m deterrent range.
The control unit features a lightweight battery that allows up to 8 hours of continuous use on a single charge. It ships with an AC charger that fully recharges NETSAFE Portable in less than 6 hours. A large LCD touchscreen lets you start and stop the system, set the volume level and monitor the battery voltage.
NETSAFE Portable’s control unit is fully waterproof with the lid closed, ideal for the most demanding weather and sea conditions. The system is splashproof with the lid open.
NETSAFE Portable is ideal for a wide range of applications, including commercial fishing (jig fishing, long lining, trawling, fixed net), sport fishing, temporary aquaculture use (during net changes, grading, harvest) or offshore construction.
Control from your PC or phone
An optional communications pack allows you to control NETSAFE Portable from a PC or phone. The LCD screen functions are also available through a web dashboard, giving full control over the Internet.
